From a boutique in Sherman Oaks to a studio of our own.

We Create Art Studio began as a small, joyful experiment: Sip + Paint nights and art classes hosted inside a charming boutique in Sherman Oaks called Mulberry Row. What started as a cozy gathering space for creativity quickly grew into a vibrant community of artists, neighbors, and curious beginners who simply wanted a place to make art together.

On February 14th, 2026, we opened the doors to our very own dedicated creative home in North Hollywood.

At We Create Art Studio, we believe creativity is a necessity. Our studio is a shared creative space where you can come together with other artists to create on your own schedule in a beautiful, thoughtfully curated environment. Whether you paint, write, collage, sing, or explore mixed media, this is a haven for expression and exploration.

Alongside open studio access, we host ongoing art classes, Sip + Paints, workshops, and community events led by local and visiting artists. These offerings are designed to foster connection, wellness, and creative growth while keeping art accessible and joyful for all levels.

Max, founder and CEO of We Create Art Studio

Founder & CEO

Max

Max is the magic behind We Create Art Studio.

As founder + CEO, she brings an unwavering enthusiasm for fostering community, embracing artistic expression, and connecting with fellow locals. A certified coach, Max has supported artists in growing their creative careers, making her a natural guide for both experienced creators and those picking up a brush for the first time.

She hosts our beloved “Discover the Artist in You” class along with other offerings, nurturing artistic self-expression and helping each person tap into the artist within while feeling supported on their creative journey.

Studio Manager

Amber

Amber is an Australian artist and our Studio Manager with a Bachelor of Education and a passion for making art fun, accessible, and a little bit messy (the good kind of messy). A self-taught artist, she has explored a variety of creative and educational pursuits over the years, including film, performing arts, and visual art. These diverse experiences have shaped her creative approach and are now woven into the workshops and experiences she brings to the studio.

Known for transforming clothing into wearable art, Amber also enjoys working on canvas, mixed media, and creative projects of all kinds. By combining her love of teaching, performance, creativity, and a great playlist, she creates a welcoming space where people can experiment, build confidence, and discover that everyone has an artistic side—even if they swear they can’t draw a stick figure.
